The Municipality is recruiting members for the Animal Welfare Advisory Committee and the Community Investment Program Approval Committee this summer.

The Animal Welfare Advisory Committee is a new committee that will provide expert advice to Council on animal welfare matters, including the health, safety and humane treatment of domestic and companion animals.

Everyone in Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo has a role in keeping their community safe, clean and welcoming for all. This summer, the Municipality is increasing education and enforcement on the Community Standards Bylaw across the region and residents and businesses are responding.
