Fort McMurray firefighters responded to an illegal fire in Abasand at the site of a former oil sands plant on Sunday night, May 18.

Now that the weather has warmed up, summer construction season is in full swing in the RMWB.  This year, the Municipality is continuing to advance several key projects including the completion of the Saunderson Pressure Reducing Station, Conklin Water Treatment Plant upgrades and the Fort McKay Community Centre.
