At the Nov. 26 meeting, Council approved Administration’s recommendations to adjust several user rates for Municipal services. The updated rates will take effect April 1, 2025.
Recruitment for new local board of directors to begin in coming weeks. In a strategic move to enhance economic growth, Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB) Council is recruiting for a new Board of Directors of the Wood Buffalo Economic Development Corporation (WBEDC), with a requirement that all members need to be permanent residents of the region.
