The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB) is proud to announce it has been selected as a 2025 recipient of funding through a national climate resiliency initiative from Intact Financial Corporation.

Advance voting for the municipal and school trustee elections will start in less than 60 days in the RMWB.

Qualified candidates are needed to fill two positions on the newly created Audit and Compliance Committee.

Many multi-unit buildings in the region are displaying incorrect unit addresses that do not align with current municipal standards. A correct address ensures emergency services like police, fire and ambulance can locate your business quickly when it matters most.
