Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo has been issued with an amendment approval by
Environment and Protected Areas for the construction of the Fort McKay Raw Water
Supply Infrastructure Rehabilitation project under EPEA Approval No. 685-03-00. This
project includes the construction of a raw water intake, a raw water supply pipeline and
associated infrastructures for supplying water to the Fort McKay water treatment plant.
The Fort McKay water treatment plant is located at NW ¼ of 25-094-11W4M.
Subzones 3 and 4 are active for snow removal from March 2 to March 6, with winter maintenance returning to its regular schedule and on-street parking restrictions in effect.

A Public Hearing is scheduled for March 24, 2026, regarding redesignating a portion of land described as Lot 2, Block 1, Plan 082 0549, from Highway Commercial district to Heavy Industrial District.
